Salary Range: £65,000 - £75,000

About the Team
You’ll be joining our People and Culture team, a close-knit team of 12 covering People & Culture Managers, People Services, Talent Acquisition, and Talent & Development. We work collaboratively across the business to support leaders and employees at every stage of the employee lifecycle.

Your Opportunity
We’re looking for an Internal Communications Senior Manager who believes communication should feel human. This role is about connecting with our people with clarity, honesty, and authenticity. You’ll help shape how we talk to each other as a business: telling our story, supporting our leaders, and making sure everyone feels informed, involved, and valued. How You’ll Make a Difference
In this role, you will:
Strategic Internal Communications
Develop and deliver a cohesive internal communications strategy aligned to business priorities, culture, and engagement goals.
Partner with senior leaders to shape messaging that drives clarity, transparency, and organisational alignment.
Translate complex organisational initiatives (e.g., transformation, engagement insight rollout, brand alignment, people initiatives/programmes) into clear, compelling narratives employees can understand and connect with.
Use data, insights, and feedback loops to continually refine and improve communication impact and reach.
Curate and maintain a dynamic engagement calendar that offers a diverse and inclusive mix of activities across the year.
Monitor uptake and participation levels across teams and offices, adjusting communications and formats to maximise reach and involvement.
Work closely with People, Social Committees, and Employee Networks to plan activities that reflect our culture, values, and the needs of different employee groups and service lines.
Proactively identify opportunities to introduce new engagement moments that keep our calendar fresh, varied, and relevant.
Promote events and initiatives in a way that is clear, inspiring, and accessible, ensuring employees understand the purpose and feel encouraged to take part.
Gather feedback from participants and non‑participants to continually refine our approach and remove barriers to engagement.
Ensure engagement activities are communicated early, clearly, and consistently so employees can plan ahead and feel genuinely invited to participate.
Partner with People & Culture Managers and stakeholders to ensure activities are delivered well and that follow‑up stories, highlights, and appreciation are shared across the service lines and business.
Leadership Communication Support
Business Partnering with Head of Departments (Client facing & Support Services) to Prepare high‑quality briefings, scripts, speeches, and leader messages for the CEO and senior executives.
Coach and influence leaders on communication tone, style, and channels to maximise authenticity and engagement.
Lead communications for key employee listening moments, including survey launches, results, follow-up actions, and progress updates.
Content Creation & Editorial Excellence
Own and manage the organisation-wide editorial calendar across all channels.
Produce engaging, brand-aligned written content including all-employee emails, intranet stories, newsletters, video scripts, and talking points.
Ensure consistency in messaging across all touchpoints, maintaining a clear narrative around strategy, culture, and employee experience.
Uphold high editorial standards, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and accessibility for diverse audiences.
Channel Management & Innovation
Oversee the internal communication channels ecosystem (intranet, Teams, newsletters, digital signage, events, leadership forums).
Continuously assess channel performance and introduce new formats or platforms to improve reach and effectiveness.
Drive adoption of communication best practices across the business, ensuring messages are timed, targeted, and relevant.
Stakeholder & Change Communication
Act as a trusted advisor to functional leads on communication for projects, change initiatives, and business updates.
Develop end‑to‑end comms plans to support change, ensuring employees understand the ‘why’, the impact, and the benefits.
Partner closely with People Strategy & Engagement on cultural programmes, EVP communication, events, and engagement campaigns.
Employee Engagement & Culture Amplification
Curate and maintain a dynamic engagement calendar that offers a diverse and inclusive mix of activities across the year.
Identify key initiatives/moments which are important to the Business and run related Monitor uptake and participation levels across teams and offices, adjusting communications and formats to maximise reach and involvement.
Work closely with People, Social Committees, and Employee Networks to plan activities that reflect our culture, values, and the needs of different employee groups and service lines.
Proactively identify opportunities to introduce new engagement moments that keep our calendar fresh, varied, and relevant.

Define and track KPIs to evaluate communication effectiveness and employee reach.
Use insights to drive content decisions and influence leadership on communication improvements.
You’ll Be Ideal for This Role If You Have:
Proven experience in internal communications or employee engagement, ideally in a complex, scaling organisation.
A track record of developing and delivering strategic internal communications aligned to business priorities and culture.
Experience partnering with senior leaders, including shaping messages and coaching on tone and impact.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor content and messages to different audiences and channels
Creative and innovative, with the ability to produce engaging and inspiring content and campaigns.
Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver multiple tasks and projects within deadlines and budgets.
High level of digital and technical skills, with the ability to use and manage various internal communication tools and platforms, such as intranet, newsletters, social media, and events
Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to monitor and measure the effectiveness and impact of internal communication and engagement activities, using feedback and analytics
Collaborative and supportive, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the firm, and act as a liaison between different functions and departments
Experience in working with remote or hybrid teams
Knowledge and understanding of our sector and industry
Experience in using or implementing an online internal communication platform

Our recruitment process typically involves three stages:
An introductory Teams call with our Talent Acquisition team.
A first-stage interview with two team members.
