We are looking for an organised and proactive Accounts Manager to join our Advance Business Services (ABS) Team. In this role, you will lead a team of accountants, ensuring that client work is completed effectively while maintaining strong relationships with our clients. As an Accounts Manager, you will need to understand the details of the accounts work and provide useful insights to our clients. Your role includes reviewing the work done by your team and offering feedback to improve and complete client projects.

The role of Accounts Manager in Advance Business Services is vital for our company's success. You will be responsible for managing our accounting practices and client relationships. Your work will not only help keep our operations running smoothly but also maintain our reputation as trusted business advisors with our clients.
You will:
- Plan and project manage the work of various client portfolios, ensuring the work is allocated among a team of supervisors, seniors, and trainees.
- Be the focal point and technical expert for that client file and work completed for the client.
- Manage client relationships.
- Ensure that work is accurately billed and captured within your teams.
- Allocate work with technical competency in mind, ensuring that team members are appropriately matched to clients and that team members are provided with the right level of support for the job they are assigned.
- Aid the department heads with budgeting activities for the team and resource allocation.
- Continually drive new initiatives and share technical knowledge with supervisors, seniors, and trainees
- Take an active role in the overall development of the department.
You’ll be ideal for this role if you are/have:
- An accounts professional with industry experience.
- ACCA or ACA qualified (or equivalent).
- Good understanding of corporate and personal tax.
- Strong communication skills.
- Managed a client portfolio of work for at least three years.
- Able to communicate value to clients and assist with account queries, growing the portfolio of work.
- Are able to allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
- Managed a team or been a people manager in a previous role.
